    PC file to xbox

    hi
    could anyone tell me if its possiable to transfer PC files to an xbox harddrive,also does anyone know the standard size of a xbox harddrive.

    Yes, it is possible as long as your xbox is running a dashboard substitute that allows it such as Evolution X.

    Standard xbox drive is usually 8Gig.

      Yeah, apparently Microsoft's Music Mixer or whatever will support it. Can transfer files from your PC to your Xbox using live and PC file sharing. So you can stick photos of yourself on the Xbox.

      Certainly intriguing. And it means that the Box has beat Sony to becoming some weird multimedia centre.

        EvolutionX has a built in ftp server. You would use an ftp client like cute_ftp on your Windows PC to transfer files to your Xbox whilst it runs EvoX.

        The MS Music Mixer will almost certainly use smb/cifs (Windows file sharing), and limit music uploads to the media directories.
