PSO eps I+II Plus ... Modem ?

Heya,

Okay, I'm about to invest in a copy of the new Japanese 'Plus' release of GC PSO ...

I'm not too concerned about the getting online part - I have a Japanese friend who'll be able to help with an address, the signing-up and such-like, and Lik-Sang report that it's Freeloader friendly ...

But ... will a normal dial-up GC modem be acceptable for playing on Japanese servers from my NZ location, in this age of broadband ?

Also - is it possible to jump to other servers than the Japanese ones once you're connected, the way it was on the Dreamcast ?

Any other advice about the game would be gratefully received, too -

I managed to connect to the jpn servers from the uk with v1.0 and v1.1, so you should be alright. You just need a bog standard dial up ISP account.

You can join US servers with v1.1, so you should be able to join global servers with Plus aswell.

I'm also expecting I&II Plus in the next week or two
