I've got a Celeron 1Ghz laptop with 256 mem, XP Prof. and a crap on-board graphics card.

Thing is, I _really_ do want to play some MMORPGs, just to see what the fuss is about.

Any ideas?

You could try ' Legend Of Mir '. It is 2D, so it doesn`t require much power. Unfortunately it is very basic and unsatisfying from what I have heard.

Have a look though, some people absolutely love it!

You could always go for a Roguelike MUD. Command-Line windows don't require much processing...

NOOOooo... It would bring back memories of that Game Network show, which solely consists of a bloke playing this game.

You shouldn't have much trouble with something like Diablo 2 I wouldn't have thought.
