Formatting a 3DSXL with a pre-installed games?

I've sold my AC 3DSXL console and I'm wondered how.if I can format it and still keep AC: New Leaf for the next user I mean? Since it was already on the SD card not d/loaded from the eShop.

Would removing my eshop account allow the buyer to keep the game?

You can't format it otherwise you lose everything. You only need delete your eShop account.

Just unlink it. Then whoever links it next will take charge of the content.

Nice one. All done. Shame you can't delete your mayor in Ac New Leaf though - seems a bit silly. I know you can rebuild, but figure you can't alter the Mii.

If the games are digital that means that all the data you have is stored in save files on the SD card, by deleting the save files for animal crossing and the mii data save files it should remove all traces of you playing in the game. If that's what your after.

Yeah that was what I after. But I've heard you cannot delete any of the mayor saves on new leaf.
