PS3 BluRay Playback Problem

Hi gang.

I tried watching a couple of BluRay films on my fatty PS3 today and after the warning screens, nothing seems to happen.

I've not had chance to try any other discs (game/DVD), but has anyone else had this issue?

Have those films worked before? For example, Gladiator will not play on my PS3 slim, apparently it's a known problem.

Thanks for replying. It was a couple of discs off LoveFilm. We'd watched most of Muppets, but when I went to watch the last 15 minutes, I couldn't get past the warning screens.

Hansel and Gretel wouldn't get past them either, but a bunch of my own discs worked fine - Sunshine, Moon and The Raid.

Go to your video section on the XMB and look at the saved data folder. Delete the data for the movies you're trying (if there is any) and have another go.
