Is fee-bay my best chance of the 'blue' NTSC US pre owned console? Have seen a few sell quite cheap on completed listings...
Is there anywhere else I can Look?

        Thank You.

I don't know about the blue wii but it is so easy to mod a wii into any region that I'd go for a cheapy PAL one TBH.

No need to buy a US model to get a blue one either. It was released here in a bundle with Mario & Sonic Olympics. Think it may be the later reissue of the Wii which lacks GC compatibility and the relevant ports however (but that might be wrong).

I have a PAL Wii, I just fancied a different coloured US Model. I don't want to mod/soft mod, besides, these things are cheap now.
I really want the Kirby collection (NTSC) There are a few others, Always fancied Data East classics too.

I'm keen to get a US Model, put it above/or below! My PAL unit and just swap the 3 cables when needed. Sensor, RGB & PSU.

That's just me I guess, but, I would prefer that.

You're missing one thing. NTSC firmware doesn't support RGB cables.

Fair enough. The Wii's Homebrew Channel is brilliant though. My launch NTSC-U system has a knackered laser but is still trucking thanks to CFG USB Loader, which is an amazing app.

If you are going to run 2 systems, might as well buy a wireless sensor bar. They cost pennies. Also you should use component rather than RGB for the Wii's tip top progressive output (if you are using a compatible TV, guessing it's a CRT if you're using RGB). It's compatible with both NTSC and PAL systems unlike RGB.

I've got a CRT, I long ditched Plasma. I play more retro, so it was an obv choice. I thought if I had two wii's, I've got a spare then too should anything go wrong. Although, this might be scuppered as I didn't know a US Wii didn't do RGB

Thank you Speedy, that would have been costly, and thank you wakka for the wireless sensor bar link :-) And of course Smouty.

So...please can you link me to the best method of getting my PAL Wii Multi Region? I don't care about homebrew or emulation (for now anyway)
                      More about playing US games.....

Can't link, but you need to install the Homebrew Channel using an exploit such as Bannerbomb, then run an application called GeckoOS as a homebrew application.

I have been thinking about this a long, long time as I don't want to use my buly step down but as smouty says, won't plugging a UK Wii PSU to a US Wii blow this up at all??

The output from a PSU is the same. It's only the input that is different - you blow a US110V PSU up if you try and fit 240V into it.
