My 3DS has been acting up and was wondering if any of you guys have had any similar issues. If I have my 3DS closed in sleep mode and move it, it switches itself off and wipes the internal clock (saves and data are fine though). It even switches itself off when its being used if the machine gets moved about too much. Ive no idea what is causing this, Ive never dropped the machine and its been well looked after, I thought it might have been a glitch after the firmware update with miiverse (which was when this whole issue started). I can still play games on it but its annoying as street pass and getting play coins are next to impossible and having to set the internal clock each time I power on the system is a chore.

Have you tried to remove the SD card? I had a problem with a Japanese 3DS that would hang up for no apparent reason or fail to recover from sleep until I changed the SD card. -
