    steering wheels

Anyone recommend a wheel for the Xbox?

Also is there a wheel that works on all platforms that is any good?

The only wheel I personally know of that works on all platforms is the MadCatz MC2 Universal Wheel. I have it and it's a good wheel. The pedals could be better and of course it's vibration rather than force feedback but for a wheel for all 3 latest consoles you can't complain.

It's got pullout wings for if you wanted to play with it rested on your lap rather than on a desk, which works very well I find. However the desk attachment is via suction cups, which isn't exactly the sturdiest method. It's got its own sensitivy calibrator so even if the game doesn't allow you to adjust deadzone/steering range then you'll be able to. Also on the PS2/GC it lets you remap the buttons, meaning if you wanted you could use the paddles for shifting and pull the gearstick for handbraking

The XBOX specific version (green rather than red) has some issues for some however, such as getting a "controller disconnected" message every so often. However it depends on from what batch your wheel is from. I intend to still get this because it supports the xbl headset, and frankly PGR2 currently has me under house arrest

Found a couple thrustmaster wheels that look promising too.

      One universal one.

And a Force Feedback XBOX specific one.

Although I believe the only XBOX game to support proper force feedback is Sega GT 2002 to date, that is what the wheel was made for.
