Credit Card Commission Charge for DVDBO

I used my barclaycard on my Mario Kart DD order. I picked Canadian dollars as always. I noticed for the first time, on my bill for this month, that I have been charged commission. Ok so it was only 87p, but I hadn't had this before. Is it something with Barclaycard or something with credit cards in general?

It could be a currency conversion charge from your CC company - lots of cards charge a percent or two when paying in foreign currencies.
