jap mod on usa gamecube. Instructions needed.

Going to do a mod on my usa gamecube because there is a couple of jap cube games i want. Does anybody know where i can get instructions on this mod, with pics if possible so it's less likely i will mess up.

In addition order Maplin part # FF77 and order yourself some Kynar from www.londonconsole.com - it's the perfect wire for modding consoles and will make the job much easier.

Superglue Maplin part number FF77 behind the rear vent like this:

This way you wont have an ugly switch drilled through your casing.

I've modded a megadrive before but the points where pretty big on that, any idea how difficult this mod is?

Any idea if you can use kynar wire, the same stuff they use on ps2 mods?

        Cheers

The points are around 1/3 the size of the points on the Megadrive motherboard - they are small but as long as you use Kynar you wont have difficulty.

I cant remember the size (Edit 0.5mm) but I use an Antex Iron and a VERY fine tip when I do mods - (tip is Maplin part no FT03 *part no depends on iron type*)

http://www.rapidelectronics.co.uk/ are very good for supplies.
