Xbox Shenmue 2 Vs DC Shenmue 2

Anyone know how they compare?
The DC version seems to fetch ?30 plus second hand, whereas the Xbox version can be had for ?20 new. Is the XB version a good port, I'm considering getting rid of my DC version to replace it with the XB version in the near future (I'll hopefully be able to find a second hand one for ?10), if I can finally be arsed to play the first Shenmue!!

I love the DC version, but I found the XBox version a little strange. Mostly due to the voice acting to be honest.
The XBox port is fine though, although you can't carry anything over from Shenmue one. Whereas in the DC version you get to keep all the stuff you've collected from sailors, fruit machines and the like...

I sold my DC version for over ?65 I then bought a "Limited Edition" JAP version and a US Xbox version with the money

I recommend the Xbox version. I don't mind the voice acting, as I played through the first one with the same quality voice acting, and the Xbox version has FAR LESS slowdown, which I see as a huge problem for the DC version. I found it almost unplayable, so I waited for the Xbox version.

Of course you can't carry anything over from the DC version, but it seems you have everything you could possibly find or buy in the Xbox version anyway.
