Getting shot of my UHD display in favour of a 27" full HD. Been looking at this one on OCUK

Seems really amazing, nice low response time and a beefy refresh rate and importantly price. It's on a this week only offer. My GPU sadly really doesn't cut it for running UHD video and games on that res either. Browser woes are another, chrome doesn't like scaling despite what options I select, Firefox just BSOD me every other minute making it unusable and I simply just don't like IE.

The response time, size and refresh rate make it very appealing as a display for my PS4. So does his get a thumbs up or is there better out there for a similar price point. I can take or leave 3D as I have a 3D main TV and I've watched a grand total of 3 movies on it so far.

that looks pretty good i have my eye out for a monitor to (will not be able to afford it till december though ) .Though i have to say for me screen tearing and microstuttering really bugs me so hoping that a cheap g-sync monitor comes out. Though heard with 144hz that sort of issue is not as apparent

Took delivery of it yesterday. Really is a lovely screen. With some tinkering it can look really vibrant. Need to take advice on settings though as my untrained eye probably has the colours and contrast set way way wrong.

Downside to it is my card can't quite handle some video at 144hz so it just gives up. It's possibly a problem with my card but with no spare to try it out. UHD video played fine mostly with only mild stuttering so not really sure what the issue is.

Bloody PC and the money it's costing me!

Pretty expensive for a non IPS 1080p display IMO.

Pardon my ignorance, but isnt it the case that if your not hitting around 144fps on a 144hz screen, you will run into screen tearing etc.

That's the problem with v-sync really. Cuts the framerate by half if you dip under and certain games don't work too well with it.

Go try Source with 60Hz v-sync for example, screws up the aiming for some reason.
