... but I have quite specific requirements.
I'm currently working on a novel, and I was thinking of getting a cheap laptop so as to make it easier for me to work away from distractions.
I used to have an Asus eee PC, which was an awesome little netbook, but it had a few problems; it ran a Linux distro and had a reduced-size keyboard.
I need a light, cheap laptop for under 50 quid that runs Windows XP (I use yWriter as software, which is only available on Windows) and has a reasonable-sized keyboard (it doesn't need the number pad, just the normal keys need to be the right size).
I suppose essentially what I'm after is a Macbook Air, but much lower spec, runs windows and costs very little.
Can anyone recommend something? I see a lot of netbook-style machines cost peanuts on eBay these days, but if anyone has used one which matches these requirements, I'd be interested to know.
