My mate has a PAL cube and PAl mario kart
I have a USA Cube and USA mario kart.

Can we botyh buy broadband adaptors over here (pal I surppose they be?!?!) and use em on each other to play 8 players?

Or bveing PAL and USA wont they work togeather?

I am worried as we planning a massive 8 man eevent u see.

Unless you have a PC running Warp Pipe (only over broadband though), which is meant to work with different regions.

Why doesn't the guy with US Mario Kart, get a Freeloader and then rent the PAL copy? That'll work fine.

Because Freeloader is the spawn of satan (alternatively you have to have version 1.06B (not 1.06b) or 1.08 for it to work properly and that means buying the latest one and then probably having to buy a new version for the next batch of games after that). I could have spent ?60 on newer versions of Freeloader so far if I hadn't given up on it after the free upgrade from 1.04 to 1.06. For ?60 you could get a 2nd hand PAL machine.
Hmm. I was trying to be heplful, but it came out as anti-freeloader propaganda

I got a USA CUBE and loads usa cube games so dont want pal cube.

Will a PAL BB adaptor at least work in my USA cube?

but just a pal and usa cube wont connect togeather?

But a broadband adaptoer bought over here will work on my usa right?

the bb adaptors are universal so any region adaptor will work in any region cube.

With 8 cubes i dont think it'll work as warppipe only seems to connect 2 cubes (unless anyone else knows any different).

Warppipe is for playing 2player online (any more than that would be crippling unless you have huge bandwidth). It spoofs the cubes into thinking they are connected via a cable.
And just to confirm, if you want to play a LAN, MKDD must all be from the same region (so at my meetup we used 4X Pal MKDD, using Freeloader 1.06B to load them on Jap cubes).

                              so my cube is USA

                              My friends is PAL

                              his MKDD is PAL

                              mins is USA.

So if I can get free loader and rent a PAL version

can we then link up to play 8 players then?
