Downloaded Skate xbox360, but every time it is corrupt

It was originally a UK account. When I got the Xbox1, I changed it to US.
I made the purchase while it was a US account. It's a US 360, so didn't think it should matter. The only weird thing was that when I purchased it, the marketplace said ? but when the confirmation dialogue popped up, it said $

I've changed it back to UK. I can still see $35 in my account on xbox.com if I specify US on the site location (back to ?0.10 if I view the site with UK location). Hopefully it will still let me spend it on the Xbox1.

Yeah, good tip about keeping quiet about the region. But I haven't been using a VPN so I thought it was set up to filter by IP region on the content and warn me, so fingers crossed it's an issue at their end.

Yeah, did that earlier. Forgot to say. Deleted it, deleted cache, rebooted, downloaded profile and then watched it loop....

Apparently it's just broken. Even when it does download it won't download the patches required, rendering anything online useless.
It also means that if you've played the patched version on disc, the saves and replays aren't compatible. I'd just get a refund.

Got a refund. Anyone know if the UK disc version plays on a US 360? I found a site suggesting it does, but it seems unlikely to me.
