    Itunes to samsung galaxy s4

Does anyone know a simple way to transfer music for my dad from his mac to phone. Spent an hour fliddling about with no joy.

    Thanks

Drag and drop with a usb cable?

Or install the google play music manager on his mac - it will upload his entire itunes library to the cloud (it won't actually bother upload the entire of each song if it knows about already - just the metadata to save time and bandwidth) and then with the playmusic app on his phone he can listen to the lot via wifi. If he wants to go out and about with it, there's a "pin" option so he can choose which albums he wants to be able to listen to offline.

You probably need the driver which comes with Samsung Kies: http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/

I was serious about the play music manager thingy - that's what I do. You can leave the manager running on his mac and any time he adds new music, it will notice and tell his phone. Less plugging in and out for him. You just need to show him how to do the pinning thing (and makes sure that downloading and streaming are turned off for mobile data in playmusic settings on his phone)

I have a program called Android File Transfer installed on my Macbook Pro for work, and I can definitely use it to move files to and from most Android based phones when connected via USB.
