    Sending New 3DS Back under warranty question.

    I don't suppose anyone knows. My Ambassador Edition has a nice dead pixel in the middle of the screen and Nintendo asked me to send it back to get sorted. They said I need to send the whole lot back to them, i.e. the box etc. They did not say anything about the data on the machine. Do you know if they do the transfer to the new machine for me as nothing was said.

    Sure they do with normal 3DS returns and replacements but you must ask them to do it.

    Would ask them to over the phone, by email and in the package etc to be double sure.
