Nothing wrong with my town, apart from the fact that it would vote a donkey to represent them in London if it were a member of the labour party.

So, anyone got any pre built recommendations? Can I better the above rig for the money? I was considering stretching my budget to 2500 for the next model up. Figured the stronger processor, SSD and ram was worth it.

Just had a go at configuring at a few sites and they're all overpriced really. Well, depends on your point of view I guess but ?400-?500 for plugging components in seems expensive. These guys are pros, it should only take them an hour tops but the rate seems standard across the board. That initial one you chose actually seems ok compared to the rest.

I think that paying a grand for that GFX card is ridiculous though. It's like buying a new sports car the day it comes out in anticipation that an autobahn might get built nearby. By the time any actual games need 12GB of vram there will be better, cheaper cards available. Unless you are doing professional 3d video work, in which case it's a good card and I guess you need all that power! :-)

I usually get my systems/bits from Novatech, always thought their prices were decent and you can sped a machine up online for them to build I believe still.
