    Shuttle pc's and Ipods

Ok, my Ipod has stopped syncing with my pc properly and I am pretty sure it is the firewire card. I went looking for a new one but the only one guaranted to work costs ?40. Now, I was going to buy a shuttle early in the new year anyway, so I thought I would wait. Now, can anyone confirm that the Shuttle works seamlessly with Ipods?

    Cheers in advance.

That's exactly the one I'm after (but from www.overclockers.co.uk) - if I can convince the missus that it can make the trip to Spain in an aeroplane without getting bashed to feck.

Cheers Yahiro, they work out a bit more expensive and I've used overclockers befoer and they're grand.

Really? You have to look in the 'todays specials' for the cheap gear.

I have an SB61G2 Shuttle and my iPod works fine with the on-board firewire.

Its a really nice machine, the only issue people might have is being unable to install large cards in the expansion slots should you need to - however, I was able to fit a Radeon 9800Pro in the AGP slot - there isn't much room left should I want to install a PCI card as well.
ISTR there wasn't enough room to put an SBLive in too as I'd planned, but it didn't matter in the end as the on-board audio was fine.

Got my shuttle today and struggled through an almighty hangover to put it toghether.

A grand little machine it is too. Just hope I can get it to Spain on the aeroplane.

Has anyone with a Shuttle XPC noticed a clicking noise coming from their PSU when the unit is off but on at the mains?

Rang overclockers and they told me all of them do this (and firstly that it was static (to which I said bollocks) and then the 'capacitors' to which I was also going to say bollocks but knew I wasn't going to get a sane answer from the man.
