    Connecting Wi-Fi problems

Hi, I recently bought a Marlight LED bulb lighting system to replace my Philips Hue that had gone faulty.

I am having trouble connecting the Wi-Fi bridge to my network. It doesn't help that the instructions are sparse and barely in English. I have to enter the Fixed IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway address and DNS address. But I have looked all over my router settings and have no idea what I should input.

I'm probably missing something really obvious, but I'm getting really frustrated now so any tips and advice would be appreciated. I have a Netgear DGN1000 in case that makes a difference.

    Thanks

Just a quick suggestion but could you not grab most of the details from a device already on the network?

Ideally you want to set up a static address for it on your router and provide it with that.

I'd be happy to remote on via Teamviewer and configure it/tell you what configuration you need? And before anyone says its dodgy letting me I don't think 10years of a reputation on here is worth loosing for some chips and gravy!

      Maybe scan the instructions

I presume there is some way to choose which wireless network that you have connected to?

on the wifi bridge (the WIFI control unit?)

      You could try

      IP address
      192.168.0.200
      subnet
      255.255.255.0

      DNS
      and 8.8.8.8
      8.8.4.4.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried them but to no avail. I am through with it. I have an RF remote for the lights and while it wont allow timed operation or other fancy shenanigans it will have to do. Because this wi-fi bridge is going to get destroyed.
