scart splitter 1 input - 2 output lead

i am wanting to take the signal from my scart switcher box (output) to both my framemeister and trinitron.

any know if this low cost solution might work?

obviously only one signal will be on at any time

    cheers

Looks fine to me. I did something similar some years back. With non-powered cables/switchboxes I'd only be concerned about ghosting and other interference.

Regarding only one signal at a time, I assume you're looking at this cable for convenience? I don't know what would happen if both framemeister and trinitron were powered on even if you weren't viewing the image on both. If either the framemeister or the trinitron is powered down then that should be ok, which I think is what you're planning to do.

thanks for the reply - its purely for convience; i'll give it a rattle and if there is any quality degradation - it wont be used if there is (there probably will be; as you have said with nonpowered cables)
