US Games on a Japanese Saturn

Couple of US games I'd like to play at some point on a Japanese Saturn Console.
May I ask best option...

I know there are some gamesharks and action replays and 4 in 1's. If that is the route, is there one to get...

I'm sure way back when I had a PAL Saturn, the one I had bought (and this was known) had to be pushed in slightly less than all the way to get Jpn games to work on a PAL Unit...is this a visa versa thing or tied to a specific cart...

Get a region switch on the console it will make life so much easier and allow all games to work on it.

Action Replay cartridges are very hit and miss.

Or get Speedylols to fit a region free BIOS so you don't even need to use a switch.
