Just my perception. I got my keyboard before all of these gaming companies got their hands on the idea of selling them to gamers. Keyboards with those switches just tend to be cheaper - I think. Not a slight, just how I feel. And hey, I'm probably wrong.

Once they're on gaming keyboards they're more mass market hence can be made cheaper probably

I had to ask where that came from, as I understood they are all high quality. Actually the black switch dates back 30 years or so. The reds are much newer granted.

So the new keyboard arrived last week. Haven't used it properly yet as I'm in the process of deciding what parts to buy for an upgrade. I wanna introduce all the new stuff to my setup at once. Now I gotta look at getting a new mouse and mat but that might have to wait until next month. More important is the actual pc hardware.
