PAL Super Gameboy on US SNES mini

I just wanted to know if the above would work without any weird pal/ntsc mixing issues. I get the feeling that it should but wanted to confirm it first.

The Super Game Boy has its own crystal oscillator but... I'm not sure.

I picked up my JP SGB for around a fiver on eBay though - might be worth getting one of those if you don't already have an SGB?

It is region locked that's for sure.
