PS2 - No image with component over BNC

Firstly I hooked up the ps2 to a CRT to change from RGB to YPbPr output in the system settings. Then I hooked up the red, green and blue connectors of the component cable to the corresponding inputs on the back of the plasma screen using the little BNC adapters. I get sound from my amp but no picture on screen. Am I doing it right?

    -edit-
Just read the YPbPr wikipedia page and the tv manual. Looks like the green connector should go in the Y input.

PS2 use sync on green, or RGsB. Think you need to separate that to make it work?

Alternatively RGB SCART is probably an option.

Does the TV support YPbPr through the BNC input?

Further reading suggests not. Y/C mode is apparently for s-video. The alternative inputs are RGB or D-sub.
