    Supergun/Jamma/Joystick help

after seeing Jamies sales for the Slot one/161 (and hopefully still has it) when i research this.

i need a Supergun in order to play it, i would also like to get the Pandoras box, and maybe a few original PCB,s (aliens, Dragon ninja, Caveman Ninja if not overly expensive).

    so onto the questions.
    Joysticks,
the supergun has a neo geo style port (4 buttons) i would need i believe need a Kickharness
to obtain 6 button support. which correct if i'm wrong connect the suprgun to which ever PCB/Slot1/pandora,
so i would like to build a 2 player joystick, but all the ebay arcade joysticks kits are for USB like this one.

this is the supergun i'm looking into getting:

    or maybe this one:

anyone point me in the correct direction for a proper 2 player arcade style kit that would plug into the supergun?

You'd be better off going for a Sigma Raijin or something similar. Slightly more costly, but would negate the need to build the stick entirely, and may end up cheaper in the long run.

If you positively have to build the stick yourself, you shouldn't be buying a kit like that anyway. The parts are inferior for starters. However all you'd need do is buy a pair of DB-15 cables to go with it.

      cheers,

it wouldn't be those parts i would buy, it was just an example to show that pretty much all i could find were usb.

as for the DB-15, i take you just strip one end and all i can find are fully enclosed male to female cables?

Wish I'd bought the Sega Boardmaster that was up on here a few years back...

That's it. You'd be better off going for moulders extension cables and using those for a neat finish though.
