Chrome OS: tricks, tips and advice

So I recently got a new Chromebook, and while I really like it, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me any good apps for the system?

Also I managed to find a Web based torrent client, but I'm having trouble actually getting the magnet link to work on a torrent site. Any tips?

Which one did you get? I'd imagine that there is a chrome browser extension to deal with magnet links.

I always had issues with magnet links on my NAS drive's , I could never get them to work

Is this in addition to having a PC or is it your only machine?
I only ask because I've started using the Remote Desktop app and Chrome extension to run stuff on my PC at home while I'm in school with my tablet and keyboard.
I forget, does it give you access to Google Play or is the store more limited?
