LOL. Kevin Keegan style kiss of death worked again.

That dll is kerio btw, in case you didn't know. Very odd. Works flawlessley for me, and used to work for you before you upgraded your PC to that cheapo mobo. hur hur. Mind you, I'm running it on a Win2k box. Never tried it on xp.

Yep, just done some research on the matter and it does somehow seem to be kerio. No idea how, I've used it for months without problem.

        Check it out: CLICKY

Are you using netpeeker still? According to shields up, that is classed as a firewall because it is inspecting all your packets as they are being transmitted received. Running two firewall apps on the same host is a very bad idea (which is also advice given on Shields up). Dunno if you are still using that though, so maybe not applicable.

Looks like Kerio+XP+BT is a no-no then. The new version of kerio is probably fine. Not long been out.

Netpeeker is still installed, but I have noticed that even when I have not started the app, my upload/ download speeds are still at what I set them to in the actual program. Seems that it runs invisibly. Bastard thing.

EDIT: I've just uninstalled the piece of ****. If it crashes again, I guess Kerio will be next.

Get rid of netpeeker. It's completely redundant. I don't think it's causing your crash (that looks like kerio+xp problem), but netpeeker is pointless for throttling apps if you have set them up with their own limits anyway.

If you have to keep netpeeker, might be worth investigating if it's any good as a firewall. It's definintely either kerio or netpeeker though, I wouldn't be running both.

Even if you turn off the firewall component though, I still think it's instsalled a seervice which sits at the networking layer and monitors traffic. Chad says that the netpeeker limits are enforced even when the app isn't open, hinting it's probably an NT service. Could be causing problems with his particular hardware.

I've just installed the latest kerio and it looks vile, really dumbed down and doesn't seem anywhere near as customisable as before.

                      Hey ho, if it works....

Ravon, don't forget you are running Kerio on win2k, not XP.
