Hmm, its a struggle to be honest. The wiimote made most of the reasonable games interesting so it'd depend on how much of a fan of it the player is as to whether the games were any good.

      -Sin and Punishment 2
      -Super Mario Galaxy
      -Super Mario Galaxy 2

Maybe Mario Kart Wii though I don't think its one of the franchises very best entries.

On a mid level quality bar
      -Punch Out
      -Super Smash Bros Brawl
      -Metroid Prime 3
      -Zak and Wiki

      Maybe Skyward Sword.

There's a few things out of curiosity if you haven't burnt them out on other formats or don,'t mind the subpar quality for the sake of curiosiy like Dead Space Extraction, Resident Evil 4 Wii, Nights Journey into Dreams.

More time passes, the more Wii strikes me as Nintendo's weakest console line up. Some interesting titles but few genuine gems.

I'm surprised people questioning the quality of Wii consdering some of the ropey ****e that have been played on the first wave of HD consoles on here.

It's almost like without achievements and bundles of meaningless tasks to do, people don't consider Wii games to be full games.

Fortune Street / Boom Street is a superb digital board game if you have 2 - 3 friends to play with. It's the only instance where SE's long running Itadaki Street franchise has been translated into English. It's a Monopoly style game where you move around a board purchasing property, paying fees when you land on others' squares and so on. But there are added elements, like a stock market and a few minigames. Plus there are a TON of boards built in.

I highly recommend it. I still play regularly with friends, and we have done for years. It received bad reviews from people who complained it was 'too slow' and 'too complicated', but they're wrong you see. Completely wrong. Because I've probably sunk well over 100 hours into it over the years. Maybe more than 200. Vicious, delicious fun with friends - especially in the cold winter nights

Might check this out; for some reason I didn't think it was released in the UK. Was there a DS version which didn't get a release, or something?

It's on many platforms going back to the Famicom, including the DS. But the Wii version is the only one that has ever been translated. It came out in the UK under the name Boom Street.

There's a definite learning curve, but it's well worth it. Be warned - a game usually takes 3 - 5 hours to play and can make enemies of friends.

Only a fool would not include Ghost Squad.
                              Kept you waiting, huh?

I think that you could just about do 50 must-play Wii games, but surely classic arcade-game compilations don't count?
