    PVM 20L2 any good?

Hi, I have a chance to pick up a PVM 20L2 in good condition. It has 600 lines (Which is what I want for the softer arcade look as an alternative to my BVM) and is relatively recent, being the successor to the 20M2U.

I've seen a couple of posts on other forums saying that they're disapointed with the image of the PVM-20L2 as it seems a bit dull. Perhaps they just have tired/worn sets?

I'm aware that this PVM won't be as sharp as the higher end PVMs (that's why I'm buying it) but is the image noticeably dull? Would it have more 'punch' than a consumer set?

    Cheers...

600 lines is still more than an arcade monitor.

An image seeming "a bit dull" could mean nearly anything.

An L2 will look buckets better than a consumer set.
