Can my laptop run FF14?

My missus wants to join me, and the laptop is the best option short of buying another PS4.

AMD A8-7410 quad core processor 2.2ghz

AMD R5 graphics card

Tried the benchmark but for some reason there's an error when trying to change the settings and it doesn't show the "apply" button so can't change them. The benchmark defaults to "high -laptop" and only gets 1500 score :/

What's the chances?

Make sure you're testing DX9 in the GPU benchmark.

I am, yeah. That's about the only option it will let me change. When I open up the full options menu, I can't click conform as the button isn't there and have to ctrl alt delete out.

Pretty sure the graphics card will not suffice. Doesn't meet the minimum 4770 and the R5 230 is a rebranding of the 6450 and that's quite low.

Have you not got your PS3 anymore?

Is it an r5 230 or 330 though? The computer won't tell me. It was bought literally about a month or two ago, so hoping it's the newer one.

I have still got the PS3, but the performance is shonky in high level gates and 8 man dungeons- was hoping for a little better on the laptop

Ah fair enough.

I think it's the 230 going by the argos review and I see many YouTube videos of it running GTAV. I think the best course of action would be to just give it a try. Pretty sure someone was giving a code away in the for free thread.

Haha yeah! As I said I tried but it was causing aggro.

The free trial is downloaded and got 25-30fps with everything on low and basic AA on. The missus seems happy with that as it works with the Xbox one controller too. Just waiting for the full version to arrive now!
