Opinions & recommendations for a new TV - 2016

I'm in need of a new TV and have been looking at a few. But I would greatly appreciate any views & opinions of the good folks here. As the room that the TV is going into is not terribly large anything over 43" would be overkill. I'm also toying the with the idea of one of these new "curved screen" televisions. Does anybody have any experience of using these types of screens with consoles? I will be an Xbox One and a Wii U (which also runs emu's so how these look is important to me). I'm probably going to be using it with my PC as well. My main concern with the curved screen though is light glare.

Is there anything else that you would recommend? I've only got a budget of about ?800 as I'm also treating myself to one of these.

Any opinions on these TVs or any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I like the curved ones when they are on, but when off the reflection messes with my chi. Also if you have any light sources behind you, it will smear them across the entire screen from some angles

Yeah, the reflection issue seems to be the most common complaint with curved TVs. Especially if your PC is or is likely to be powerful enough it seems better suited to save the money you'd spend on a curved screen and go for something standard with decent 4K support.
