My friend got me this for Christmas as he found it in the attic, boxed with instructions and looking lovely. How much is it worth?

Also, there is an empty space in the polystyrene for something long and thin. Can't think what it is?

Woo! However, I'm still unsure as to what the space in the polystyrene on the left is for. Anyone fill me in?

That thin space would have been for the 2 batteries that came with all game & watches.
