Ive just found a initial d duel arcade cab a few days ago, and saved my new rx-7 on there today. However, its automatic. Is there any way I can change it to a manual set up without having to buy a whole new card and starting a new game?

Not changed cards for a while but after 50 plays (not including continues) your card will have to be 'renewed'. I think when you renew your card you are given the option to change Transmission type. However, this might only be an option on Ver.2 of the arcade game. Not played Ver.1 for ages so memory is hazy on whether that version allows you to do the same.
However, even so it will probably be cheaper just to start over with a new card. -
Ah no worries, I only had 4 or 5 races on the card. Thanks m8
