N64 controllers

hi, i got a N64 last week but the controller i got with it is a but broke, well the analoge stick moves from side to side just by tilting it( it's very loose) and i've tryed 2 memory cards in it and none work so i would like to know
1) where can i get new official controllers from?(would like a red one, what with supporting liverpool)
2) is there a way to find out if the memory cards are broke or the controller bit that takes the card is broke?

Try looking for another controller in game market stall or gamestation or something similar. You might be able to pick one up for a fiver perhaps.
