Pal Zelda CE on a us cube

Ive got freeloader version 1.6 but when i try to load it i just get a black screen after inserting Zelda CE. Ive tried all 3 boot methods any ideas?

I don't think you can run a PAL Zelda on an NTSC cube. I certainly couldn't.

Tried holding 'B' throughout the Freeloader process, and selecting your region? I play on a US cube, although I've been using 1.04 (which, tbh, seems to be universally better at playing PAL stuff on NTSC cubes).

So my best bet is getting hold of a copy of 1.04? And then it'll defo run?

I tried booting the PAL Zelda disc with 1.06 on my Q but all I got was a black screen.
Also I bought Hunter: The Reckoning today and I got the same dammit!
Are both (PAL) games not compatible with the Freeloader?

What was that website again with the compatibility list?

So can anyone tell me why for example the EUR Hunter and Zelda CE should work on a US Cube and they don't work with me?
(tried all the boot methods)
