    Joytech/Play.com PS2 PS>PC adapter

Hey, anyone here have one of these? I use it with a DualShock 2 and find it excellent for some games. One problem... when I start my PC, I need to unplug it and plug it in again for Windows to recognize it. Before it's plugged in and getting power, because the ANALOG light is lit up red, but it just isn't recognizable. My motherboard's an MSI ES5PE Neo2 and has the latest firmware.

    Anyone have any ideas?

My mate, Greg, has one. It works alright with us. I think he's mentioned once that it very rarely un-installs itself sometimes.

Whatever you do don't go with the Lik-sang makes. They're crap. I bought one and it worked for a couple of hours before it malfunctioned and never worked again. Nice waste of ?15 there. Good stuff.

I'll be going with the Play.com model as soon as I get a Playstation stick.

I bought one, and would like to throw it against a wall. Simply doesn't work properly, it either rumbles constantly and violently, completely re-calibrates itself and starts moving about wildly, or simply does nothing at all.

It's a piece of crap and not even worth the ?6 asking price.

That's odd, I thought a simple converter would either work perfectly or not at all. I'm pretty pleased with the one I'm using...

It doesn't really uninstall itself, when I plug it in again there's no copying files again needed. It's just to make it appear in the control panel and work.

Just digging this thread up because I'd prefer this to the magic box due to being able to plug in two ps2 pads...my dreamcast pads are on the verge of knackerdom, any more opinons on it?

Plus I could get two of them when I buy ISS Pro Evo ;D
