How limited was the Achamo GBA SP? (Torchic)

Does anyone know how many units of the Orange Achamo 5th Anniversary GBA SP were made? I know it was a limited release only available to club Pokemon Centre visitors in Japan, but I can't find any info regarding actual numbers.

Also, is this different to the 'Torchic' GBA SP or is that just the western name of the same Pokemon?

Doesn't sound right, I was able to get one by ordering 2 days before it came out from play-asia. Don't these uber-limited editions usually sell out within a few days of preorders?

Well that's why I was wondering - I was going to order one from yesasia this morning because I liked the price compared to what they go for over here, but then I got to wondering just how limited they were as they seem to be available from just about all the asian import stores now as new stock.

I guess 2000 isn't very limited, but I'd be surprised if that figure's accurate as there are so many doing the rounds....
