xbox scratching discs help

i was playing broken sword on my xbox today and it crashed a few times so i took it out and it had circular scratches around it is there anyway it can be cleaned i only got the games today and it's really annoying me

if it helps i had the exact same problem with my 1st ps2, scratched the hell out of my v-rally 3 until it wouldnt load certain parts up.

in the end just cleaned the lens and it never did it again

with the xbox its to do with the cd drive as it doesn't stop the disc from spinning when it puts it back into the disc tray and so the disc gets the circular scratches

if your xbox is unmodded give xbox support aring and see what they can do about it ?

i put a lens cleaner in then i put a ps2 demo disc which was unscratched in it and it came out unscratched is this a fair test i.e does it spin at the same speed as a an xbox game disc if put in
