GBASP to gameboy pocket link up?

hey does anyone know if theres a link up cable that goes from GBASP to gameboy pocket? Me and a friend want to play original pokemon cheers

Any linkup cable will do to my knowledge, Nintendo have never changed anything about it (even the connections) since 1989!

Yeah, they are. Im sure the GBA and GBP are the same though.

The connectors are the same, I just tried my GBP link in my GBA and it fitted fine. Didn't try playing a linked game though... I don't have anything that works with only one cart on it.
