I was thinking of getting a jap ps2 originally from ncsx but then I noticed I can save a lot of money on shipping to the uk with play asia and save some more on the actual machine. How good is the service of this company? I'm used to same day shipping with ncsx

Play-asia's console prices appear good on paper, but when you add on shipping charges, and customs fees they are considerably more expensive than yesasia. (You can add on around ?50 altogether I imagine)
Not sure if you're aware of this, but yesasia have free shipping on consoles to the UK, and avoid customs completely by shipping to their UK warehouse. Therefore the price you see is the price you pay. -
Play-Asia offer the same very high level of support and service as NCSX do in my experiences with them.
Alongside Tronix, I'd say NCSX and Play-Asia are probably the best importers around.
You may want to look at YesAsia as they do free shipping and ship from within Europe so you are guranteed no import tax. They may appear slightly more expensive than NCSX or Play-Asia, but once you consider postage and potential import fee's then they may be the best option for consoles.
I have never ordered from them though and have no 1st hand views on them, from what I have heard though YesAsia are very good though.

yeah, I had a ps2 arrive yesterday from them in fact. Took 3 days on free shipping, and paid via paypal. I cant think of a better retailer online tbh.Comment
