    Import question

I know i may have asked this before but i just wanted to ask a few questions about import games

I was trying to play US FF antholigy on my tv (A potarble one) I have a PSone (Not PSX) and was useing the PSXchange disc i followed the instructions fine and the game worked but when it came on the colours were wrong (E.G Blues were green and brown shades merged into a pink mess) I was useing the lead i got with the PSone (A scart block with a red white and yellow cabble running into it) so i tried an RGB scart lead and the colours were still wrong so I tried moveing the lead about and the colour problem was fixed...but a new problem arose the screen beceme filled with dots flying around it was like playing in a sandstorm

Now thats the problem...i was wondering abot the solution... I thought of getting a proper RGB scart lead (The one i used was a cheaper alternative) as i have one for My dvd player and that works okay
Or even better A NEW TV as my one is at least 6 years old (I got it when i got my sega saturn a long time ago) as the FAQ says that its good to have a TV which suports 60HZ mode (Im sure i could find one for under ?100) and that may work.....I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem as id realy like to play games like Xenogears and Chrono cross
    Any help would be apreciated

It's a long shot, but do you have an aerial plugged into the TV as well? That could cause interference with the Scart socket. Try unplugging your aerial if you have one, and see if that sorts out the dot problem. It sounds like interference IMO

Also you said the colours changed when you moved the scart plug a bit...sounds like the socket is a bit loose to me. Could be causing you problems with colours etc

Dunno about that mate, I got a new TV 3 months ago and my main prioriety was 60 hz too and to be honest I did not see one at that price.

At the very elast youre looking at ?400 and upwards. Its hard to find a small TV that supoprts 60HZ. Looking at net retailers would be your best bet, but dont hold your breath. Now is the time as the sales are on et al..... good luck mate

My 28" TV cost ?230 and is NTSC 60Hz and PAL60 compatible. You could easily find a 60Hz TV (or an NTSC TV) for under ?100 if you looked around the Internet for 5 minutes

            It's this one - http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/167_832114.html

            ?199 now...typical

I got mine over a year ago, so I can't complain I guess

It says it's not NTSC compatible on the site...but it is. Comet, as usual, and their high levels of quality

Trust me it's NTSC compatible through AV1 (RGB, Composite),2 (S-video, composite) and 3 (composite)
