    Play Asia

My first order from Play Asia arrived this morning

( Thank you NTSC for recommending them )

The box was marked as commercial product of something like that

and they undervalued it on the customs form so no charges

Are all packages from them always marked like this as Im thinking about getting myself a ceramic white PS2 from them and the thought of paying a fortune in customs fees has put me off

    Im off to play now

    Cheers

They generally mark everything down to make things nice and cheap for you, and if you're concerned you can always E-mail them and ask them to.
(They have to do it in proportion though, if you ended up with a 6 foot square crate, and they valued it at a tenner, it might look a bit iffy. )

I would imagine you'd be lucky to get a PS2 through unscathed by customs.

No chance. Youll get nailed by customs.

But he won't get hit THAT hard, surely? I wouldn't have thought it'd be more than ?30. But obviously if you can get it cheaper elsewhere then you might as well

Well, when youre looking at a ?150 console, I class ?30 as a fairly large sum.
I've said it before, and I'll no doubt say it again, but IMO yesasia is the way to go with importing consoles ^_^

Shame they've ran out of Panny Q's.

Nearly ordered one from play asia today. At ?291 inc delivery it's not a bad deal but I don't wanna risk getting caned the whole 25% import tax plus handling fee.
