Video Capture

Hi,

Just got a video capture card for my pc but when i capture from my xbox its always black and white? I tried a different program but still no luck. Any ideas?

First of all, make sure your card is set to capture from the correct format. S-Video is the best, but you can also use composite.

Secondly, it will most likely be your input format that needs changing. If your xbox is chipped and you are running it in NTSC, you need to set your capture software to NTSC_M_J. Otherwise, the card will default to PAL colour and the picture will show up b&w. Whatever software you are using to perform the vid capture should have an option to adjust this as well as the input source.
