    Save games on Sd Supercard.

For some reason my Suoercard isn't saving gba games progess. Any ideas?

I suppose it depends on when it makes the save, but it could be that the battery is dead inside. On my EverDrive X5 at least you have to load a different ROM before it will dump the SRAM to the micro SD.

I'm pressing LRASelect and see "normal save" and press Save. Not sure when I should have be loading and how though

        Battery inside the Suoercard?

Think I've found a few relevant topics on GBAtemp.

The Supercard miniSD does actually have a battery inside, which is supposed to keep the SRAM of the last game you played, but honestly I never trusted it. It's always better to use the button combo to save, or the Quick Power Cycle if the button combo doesn't work.

If however this combination doesn't work, you can try an alternative method known as the "Quick Power Cycle" method. Save in-game, then power off and QUICKLY power back on IN GBA MODE (broken in DS mode for some reason). Press Right to get to the Saver tab, navigate to the *.sav file, and press A twice. This should update the *.sav file with the current SRAM, which hasn't yet been lost since you powered back on so quickly.
Trying to familiarise myself with this product but it seems as if previous versions didn't have a battery to keep that SRAM powered.

If your device looks like this then it does indeed appear to have a battery for that purpose. So if this a problem that has only developed recently I would assume that it is the fault of the battery.

Ok I managed to get the real time save state to work in DK King of Swing. But not normal save.

And guru logic is playing nicely now. I removed all the patched files and recreated them. Weird

Ha, strange. Guess the battery is fine then!
