Ps2 noisier when playing ps2 cd based games.

    Ps2 noisier when playing ps2 cd based games.

    Just had my ps2 chipped with a dms3 and i've noticed that the machine seems noisier, when playing ps2 cd based games.

    I know that the drive spins faster when using ps2 cd's but there seems to be a slight buzzing sound as well.

    does anybody have this same problem?

    I think this is normal.

    Don't worry about it. I've had 4 machines since 2000 and all have been louder with CDs.
