Can I use my existing Wii U tablet controller on a different console?

My Wii U is bricked with an error code that I can’t fix. I only want to replace the base console and use all my existing kit. Will this pair ok?

Yes, you just need to reset and resync - don't believe there are any hardware lockouts. You can only use one at a time though.
