    Chrome shuts down immediately

    Totally mad. Brand new install of Windows. First thing I installed is Chrome. It works once. Then after that it always immediately shuts down one second after loading it. No extensions.
    Tried total clean install again. Same result.

      It said there aren't any yesterday. It was a cloud install / reset / purge

          There are always updates, but you've posted above now it was a reset, when previously you said it was a clean install. If it was a reset and you kept user data, it'll be a different thing and you'll need to clear the user profile files for chrome which are in %userdata% I forget the exact folder, but that can cause problems too with mismatches.

            Cheers. Tried deleting the Google folders in there. Only thing I can't get rid of is a registry key which says I'm unable to delete but no reason.
