Mate, I did this exact same thing like last week and Windows XP didn't detect the FAT32 drive that I put into a new machine to copy files over. I had to use DOS. The machine knew it was there but XP didn't and it worked in DOS perfectly.

Yup!!! At last.

Got it all sorted today, exactly the way I want it. A tech savvy mate came round and sorted me out.

One of the jumpers was broken, so we replaced that and formatted the 110gb partition in Windows (well done marcus, I was just being blind).

Clearly I was having one of my stupid weeks.
