Sound trouble a-brewin'.

I've had my PC for a few months and not installed much on it, but recently the sound has been skipping and jittering a little on things like PowerDVD and apparently Dungeon Keeper 2 which I got today. It seems that the more sound there is, the more it jitters. Is there any simple way of solving this?

Run the diagnostic program that you get with Power DVD and see if it asks you to enable DMA mode for your DVD drive. Once you have done this see if it makes any difference.
